In the library
I found a ham
Then another ham
There are too many hams

I have fallen to pieces

as celine looks on in mild amusement
we stuck together, our love was the glue
the tangerine peels fill her shoes
so we wonder whose flowers were scent
mashed potatoes, where’s the gravy baby?

Drained

Drained
by Mr. Lucas Brice

inside the drain
tiny alligators crawl
they come out at night
and climb up the wall
they walk across the ceiling
just above my head
they jump right off
and drop into my bed
they crawl into the blanket
and nip my toes
then run to the pillow
and bite my nose
when the sun comes out
they run back into the drain
those tiny alligators
are a bloody pain

Kangaroo
by Mr. Lucas Brice

Kangaroo
He hop around,
His feet go up,
His feet go down,
His feet, they barely
touch the ground,
they call him Kangaroo.
